About this Talk

It is well known that we can improve or eliminate many of the developed world's most common diseases and mental health conditions (including heart disease, diabetes, certain cancers, autoimmune diseases, depression, anxiety, ADHD, ASD) if we just learn a little more about food. The Plant-Based Theory was developed as a means of bridging the gap between what the science tells us and what consumers recognize as general knowledge. It's time we learn to take control of our health, ignore misleading marketing ploys, and start feeling amazing again.

Author, Nutrition Specialist, Athlete, Theplantbasedtheory.com

Jennifer M. Babich was born in Middlebury, Vermont, USA and spends her time between the USA and New Zealand. She holds a Sports Medicine degree in Exercise Physiology and is also a wife, mother, nutrition specialist, behavior change specialist, corrective exercise specialist, personal trainer, hallā€of-fame athlete, and wellness advocate. After losing several family members to chronic disease, she spent numerous years dedicating her time to researching nutrition and the food industry. Her most profound discovery was that both the food and medical systems lack nutrition knowledge, and in no way promote health. It has therefore become her mission to educate the public on what real food is, how food translates to health, and how the current food system causes more disease than you can shake a stick at.
